Ceiling vibration and deflection control

Minor vibration and deflection because of the high rigidity of the slab …

Due to the existence of orthogonal I-shaped ribs in the Contruss voided slab, high moment of inertia will be provided in slab compared with flat, waffle, and prestressed slabs. In general, Contruss ceiling can be called as a kind of hollow Contruss truss. Therefore, the rigidity of ceiling is so high, which will make it possible to control vibration and deflection properly, and also transform lateral forces suitably as a rigid diaphragm.
